【Japanese Recipe Video】Katsu-Don(Pork cutlet bowl)

Ingredients for one serving

  • Rice
  • Pork cutlet
  • 2 Eggs
  • ★3 Tablespoons of water
  • ★1 Tablespoon of soy sauce
  • ★1 Tablespoon of mirin
  • ★1 Tablespoon of sake
  • ★1.5 Teaspoon of sugar
  • ★1 Teaspoon of ajinomoto
  • 1/4 of an onion
  • Green onion as desired for a garnish


  1. Put ★ and sliced onion into a pan
  2. Boil until onion becomes tender
  3. Put cut pork cutlet into the pan
  4. Pour 2/3 mixed egg over the pork cutlet and onions
  5. Cook until the egg becomes half-boiled
  6. Pour the rest of mixed egg over the top
  7. Put it all on the rice
  8. Garnish with chopped green onion
