Ingredients <for 1~2 person>

  • 1/2 of burdock
  • 1/4 of carrot
  • a little bit of sesame oil
  • a little bit of sesame
  • 1.5 tablespoons of Japanese sake
  • ★1.5 teaspoons of sugar
  • ★1.5 teaspoons of soy sauce
  • ★1.5 teaspoons of mirin

Recipe

  1. Cut the carrot into thin strips
  2. Remove the burdock dirt with foil
  3. Cut the burdock into thin strips
  4. Immerse the cut burdock in water for 5mins to remove harshness
  5. Put sesame oil on the pan
  6. Cook the carrot and the burdock until becoming soft
  7. Put Japanese sake into the pan and mix for 1 min
  8. Put ★ingredients into the pan and mix them for 2 mins
  9. Put them on the plate
  10. Sprinkle sesame over the top

*It’s better to wait for 3 mins after cooking the carrot and the burdock in order to soak the taste and the flavor into them
