【Japanese Recipe Video】Okonomiyaki -Hiroshima Style

  • 1/4 cabbage
  • 6 Pork Belly slices
  • Ten-kasu (Tempura bits)
  • Instant noodles
  • 4 tablespoons of water
  • 1~2 eggs
  • Oil


  • *1 Ounce of Okonomiyaki flour
  • *5 tablespoon of Water


  • Okonomiyaki Sauce
  • Mayonnaise
  • Dried Green Laver (Powdered Green Laver)
  • Dried Bonito


  1. Cut a Cabbage.
  2. Make Okonomiyaki-Batter; Mix and Stir the *ingredients.
  3. Heat a little bit of oil and pour 3 ladles of the Batter in a pan
  4. Add the Cabbage on the Batter.
  5. Put Tenkasu and 6 Pork Belly slices on it.
  6. Pour 3 ladles of the Batter on it
  7. Turn it over quickly. [!! Do not press the top of Okonomiyaki!!]
  8. Cook it for about 10 minutes until the Pork belly and the Batter cooked well.
  9. Remove it from the pan
  10. Cook an Instant Yakisoba with an Okonomiyaki-Sauce, put the Okonomiyaki on it and then remove it.
  11. Heat Oil again, and then add 2 Eggs
  12. Put fired egg (step11) on the Okonomiyaki
  13. Pour the Okonomi Sauce & Mayonnaise over it.
  14. Put the Powdered Seaweed & Dried Bonito

What you need

Okonomi Sauce – 17.6oz by Otafuku.

Japanese Kewpie Mayonnaise – 17.64 oz.


Tenkasu 120g


Kaneso Tokuyou Hanakatsuo , Dried Bonito Flakes 3.52 Oz

Chowmein Yakisoba
